Greetings, Joshua, and welcome back to
planDisney!
Joshua, thank you for consulting planDisney, we value your question. As a primary caregiver for my special needs son, we have greatly appreciated
Disney's Disability Access Service during our past visits as well as the many
Services for Guests with Disabilities. The
Fall season at Walt Disney World Resort is a festive time of year offering many unique events and activities for you to enjoy.
If you are considering
registration for the DAS Advance virtual chat from 2 to 30 days before your visit, in consultation with a Cast Member you will be able to select up to two DAS Advance arrival windows for each day of your valid theme park admission. Joshua, if you decide to register in person at a Guest Relations Lobby inside a Walt Disney World Resort theme park you will then be able to select your DAS arrival window for one attraction at a time until the park closes. The current
list of Walt Disney World Resort Attractions to select from is quite extensive thereby enabling you to enjoy your theme park touring.
In preparation for your registration, Joshua, please complete your
Family & Friends list in your Disney account to include those travelling with you in your plans including the DAS Guestlist. As well, kindly ensure you secure your
Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservation for each day of your valid theme park admission in advance of your arrival.
Once at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park, using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App and once registered for the DAS you will be able to see the DAS accommodation on your Home Page and you or anyone on your DAS Guestlist will be able to self-select a DAS arrival window from the available attractions. To redeem your DAS arrival window, you as the registered Guest will need to be present.
For any further questions, I invite you to contact
Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Tip:Using the
complimentary Disney Genie, I would advise pre-selecting your preferred attractions, experiences and dining for the Disney Genie to then prioritize your preferred list in order to offer suggested itineraries and information for approximate wait times at standby and Lightning Lane queues. Available attractions that accommodate the DAS will be presented in this list. You can also use the
Disney Genie+ Service as well as the DAS accommodation.
Joshua, it was my pleasure assisting you today. Please stop by planDisney for more first-hand tips and advice to optimize your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
