Hello, dear Shelby!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I love to help Guests who are looking for the perfect Disney Resort hotel, so I’m thrilled to have you here today!
My first recommendation has to be a studio at
Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. At 447 square feet, these studios are the most spacious standard rooms at the Walt Disney World Resort, and they offer plenty of space for your group. They come with a queen bed, a small pull-down bed, and a pull-out couch, as well as two (yes, two!) bathrooms: a full bathroom and a second bathroom with a beautiful rainfall shower and a sink. Because they have a pull-out couch instead of a second bed,
studios are perfect for families who intend to use travel cots.
They also come with a little kitchenette with a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, a coffee-maker, and a toaster, and my family found this kitchenette super useful in early mornings and late nights. Given that they’re located at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, they also will give you easy access to Magic Kingdom Park via
Monorail and
boat, and to EPCOT via Monorail. I simply
ADORE these studios, and I think that they would be perfect for your family!
This resort offers
two pools, and they both are zero entry and kid-friendly, so it seems like the Mouse knew you were coming! I also love the food options at this Disney Resort hotel. Of course, there may be some restrictions given the ever-evolving state of the health precautions currently in place, but
Kona Cafe and
Capt. Cook's are both food gems that will keep your family fed and happy!
Disney’s Riviera Resort is also a great option to access both
EPCOT and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios: the amazing Disney Skyliner. This Disney Resort hotel also has fantastic studios (with the same split bathroom layout), two pools with slides, and a fantastic water play area. If these Theme Parks interest you the most, this Disney Resort hotel is an excellent choice.
Finally, I will also suggest the Finding Nemo Family Suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. They have two full bathrooms, a kitchenette, and plenty of room in the living room for the two travel cots. They’re also super close to the
Disney Skyliner and the Big Blue Pool! This pool has a zero-entry side and a fantastic splash area for your little Mouseketeers to have a lot of fun!
I hope that these tips are helpful, dear Shelby. Please let us know if you like them, and if you’d like more advice to make this trip unforgettable. Our planDisney team is here to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
