Hi Eric,
Welcome to planDisney! Looks like your vacation is this summer, how exciting! Though we don’t plan your full vacation, I’d be more than happy to give you a few pointers to get started.
First, I suggest checking out this
Visitor’s Guide. It's a great resource because you can see all the Theme Parks on one page and explore which might be best for you and your party. You can also view attractions by categories like “First Time Visitors”, “Thrill Seekers”, and “Little Ones”. At this stage, you can also look into your options for hotels. You'll want to explore the
Disney Resorts Collection and
other accommodations that surround the Walt Disney World Resort.
Once you purchase your
Theme Park tickets, make sure to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations! At this time, you need both a Theme Park ticket and Disney Park Pass for each member of your party for every day you enter the Theme Parks. When the tickets are linked in your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll be able to make your reservations. I suggest you make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible so you have your desired days for each of the Theme Parks.
Next, you’ll want to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It’s like having the entire Walt Disney World Resort in the palm of your hand! You’ll be able to view Theme Park maps, purchase
Disney Genie+ and
Lightning Lanes, use GPS to guide you throughout the Resort, and even mobile order at select restaurants. You’ll want to download the app so you’re comfortable with navigating through all its features. Once you’re on property, remember that you can always pick up a physical map at the entrance of the Theme Park. If you have questions about anything, please speak to a Cast Member from
Guest Relations or the
Guest Experience Team!
Finally, check out the
planDisney Video Library to learn more about the Walt Disney World Resort. You can also take a look at the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest and greatest news!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” helps get your planning process started. As you continue, if you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
