I need help planning my trip and making payments

Hey there, Jassel. Thanks for your question, and welcome to planDisney.

It sounds like you’re ready to start planning your Walt Disney World vacation, exciting! Here at planDisney, we’re Guests just like you, but we’ve logged plenty of time navigating the ins and outs of Disney vacation planning and are happy to share what we’ve learned along the way. While we can’t actually book or manage payments for you, I can certainly point you in the right direction so you can get everything started with confidence.

As you begin to plan, there are a few key decisions you’ll need to make that will shape your trip. You’ll want to decide where to stay, how long you’d like your vacation to be, how many days you plan to visit the theme parks, and whether you’d like to include one of the two Disney dining plans. These choices will help you narrow down your options and make sure your trip fits both your schedule and your budget.

Before you start, I suggest clicking around the Stay in the Magic page on the Walt Disney World website to learn about the benefits of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. From there, take a little time to familiarize yourself with the different resort categories: Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Each offers its own unique atmosphere, amenities, and price range. Once you’ve identified which fits your needs and budget, you’ll be ready to start building your vacation package.

When you’re ready, head to the main Walt Disney World website, and at the top of the page, you’ll find the “Build Your Vacation” tool where you can enter your desired dates, number of Guests, and preferred resort category. From there, you’ll see available rooms at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels and can create a Disney Vacation Package that includes both your resort stay and theme park tickets. Once you’ve selected your options, you can place a deposit to hold your reservation and then make payments toward your balance on your own schedule through your My Disney Experience account. While there isn’t a payment plan schedule, you are free to make as many payments as you want up until your full amount is due, which is 30 days before arrival.

Jassel, once you’ve started piecing everything together, feel free to stop by planDisney with specific questions about resorts, dining, or park strategies. I’m always happy to help fine-tune your plans so you can make the most of your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    See you real soon!
