Hey there, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney!
April showers bring May flowers, but they also bring you to the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm so excited to help you begin planning your vacation. I know there can be so much to think about with all of the resort hotels, tickets, and dining. Not to worry, your Fairy GodTaylor is on the case and ready to show you what to bibbidi bobbidi do.
The easiest way to book your vacation package can actually be found right on the Walt Disney World Resort website. At the very top of the
homepage, there's a tool marked Build Your Vacation where you can enter your preferred dates of travel, information about the number of grownups and littles in your travel party, and your preferred resort hotel. You'll be able to check out hotel rates and choose your tickets all in one easy go.
Now it's time for the fun stuff! Have you thought about which
resort hotel works best for your family? There are so many great options for a variety of budgets.
Disney's Pop Century Resort is a favorite of mine in the value tier. Having the
Disney Skyliner right there to fly me over to Hollywood Studios or EPCOT is certainly a lovely way to travel. At the moderate level, I'm a fan of
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for a taste of Spanish flair to relax between park visits. And if you're feeling the deluxe vibes,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge can't be beat. I will never get the shock of seeing a giraffe standing on the savannah from my balcony.
When choosing the
theme park tickets that best work for your party, there are a couple of options to consider. Personally, I recommend the
Park Hopper Option. My family loves being able to start our morning in one park, take a midday rest, and spend the afternoon and evening in a whole different park.
You certainly want to make sure you and your travel companions are full up with more than pixie dust while moving around on vacation. The booking window for
Advance Dining Reservations opens 60 days before your arrival date. Whether you want to snag some character dining like breakfast at
The Crystal Palace or have a lovely dinner at
Narcoosee's, there's always a fabulous eatery waiting to serve you.
Pro-tip: There are so many
special offers going on at The Most Magical Place on Earth right now. If any of them apply to your vacation, you can add them during the booking process. Nothing feels as magical as saving a few extra dollars.
Jennifer, I hope I've been able to help get you started today.
Come back and see us for more tips on how to plan your magical stay.
Happy planning!
