Hi ya pal, Tim! I see you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation arriving on Valentine's Day! What a wonderful time to visit the most magical place on earth! I have visited Walt Disney World every February for the past 10 years and I have a few tips for you that will make planning a last-minute trip seamless!
First, I highly recommend that you stay on-site at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. There are so many wonderful resorts and it appears that you have several options with open availability that week. I recently stayed at the
Art of Animation in a family suite and absolutely adored the spacious room, with three beds, a kitchenette, and two showers. I also loved the convenience of taking the
Skyliner to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Secondly, check to make sure that your desired theme park is available before purchasing your tickets. After you make your purchase, make sure to book your
theme park reservation in advance. You can also use the
Walt Disney Park Calendar to check out the park hours, fireworks shows, park hopper availability, and extended hours.
Thirdly, I recommend making your
Advanced Dining Reservations through the My Disney Experience app or online.
My biggest tip for making the most of your vacation is to download the
My Disney Experience app and use the
Disney Genie Service to plan out your day. The Tip Board will give you the wait times for attractions, let you know if any walk-up tables are available at table-service restaurants, and let you know the available timeslots for Mobile Food Orders. When I was in Walt Disney World last week, the Disney Genie Service was invaluable, helping make the most of my time at the parks!
Please let us know if we can help you with anything else to make your upcoming vacation magical!
Magically,
Stacy
