Hello Patricia,
Just as Cinderella herself sang, "A dream is a wish your heart makes." It's wonderful to hear you want to plan your dream
Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
First, let me start with this quick tip. If you're looking for someone to make all your vacation arrangements for you, rather than handle the research and booking by yourself, then you might want to look into working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Travel agencies with this special distinction can offer you their Disney-focused knowledge, expertise, and support in putting together all the pieces of a Disney vacation. You can do a simple web search for the phrase "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" and find agencies that provide these services.
The planning tools available online are easy to use, and they offer a simple way to take a "plan it and book it yourself" approach.I always recommend looking at the
Disney Resorts Collection so you can think about where to enjoy your dream vacation stay. The
Resort hotels and Deluxe Villas offer a unique Disney vacation vibe. The planning tools let you easily
view all the magical possibilities, and you can filter the Resorts depending on what matters most to you, whether that's location, budget, or type of Resort.
I also always recommend exploring the
theme park ticket options. A key consideration will be how you'd like to visit the theme parks. Do you see yourself enjoying one park per day? Would you like to visit multiple parks in a day? Perhaps you want to add in some waterpark adventure? You'll find ticket options suitable for your visit.
Personally, I always recommend the Park Hopper Option to experience even more theme park magic in a day. I also recommend booking your Resort stay for enough days so that you can enjoy some relaxing downtime between the days you visit the theme parks.
Once you have an idea for where you'd like to stay and how you'd like to visit the theme parks, you can
book your vacation package. You can always call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-7702 and speak with a Cast Member who can help you with questions about your vacation package.
It's helpful to know that you'll need both theme park tickets and theme park reservations to visit the theme parks. Before you book your vacation package, it's a good idea to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. After you book your package with your tickets, you can use the
Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations.
Patricia, I hope this information is helpful as you look to plan your dream vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you'd like suggestions as you put together your plans, please do come back and ask us here at planDisney.
Remember, Patricia, "If you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true."
Here's wishing you all the magic for your dream Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
