Welcome to planDisney, Tammie! You’ve come to the right place for help and we are happy to assist in your planning.
While you
CAN jump ahead to booking your trip, I will first encourage you to create a
My Disney Experience account if you don’t already have one. Through this account you can manage all of your plans,
connect with family & friends and even make dining reservations.
Now, let’s talk about how you (and your Mom) can join in on the Magic! Since other members in your family already have their trip booked, I recommend you start with your calendar in hand. If you’re hoping to stay at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can search for availability
HERE. Simply put in your desired dates to see which resorts are available. Tammie, once you see the available resorts for your stay, I encourage you to book this as a
vacation package (meaning your theme park tickets and hotel stay are bundled together). Depending how far out you’re planning, you can secure your reservation with a $200 deposit and then pay over time (with the final balance due 30 days before check-in).
Tammie, once you have your vacation package booked, you’ll want to learn a little about the
Disney Park Pass reservation system (all guests are currently required to hold a complimentary theme park reservation in addition to your ticket to gain entry). Reservations can be made as soon as your vacation package or tickets are linked in your My Disney Experience account.
Tammie, I hope this information helps jump start your planning. Please come on back and see us hEAR at planDisney with any more planning questions. We love to give recommendations for resorts, dining and chat about our favorite ways to spend a day at each of the parks.
As my pal Mickey would say, we hope to "see ya real soon!"
