Need help planning our 2013 Disney vacation. Been to WDW in 2008 and 2011. Now torn between going to Disneyland (to see the new Cars Land) or taking a 4 day Disney cruise to Bahamas. Sons are 17, 13, and 2. Which do you recommend for teens and a toddler?

    Hi Rebecca!

This is a hard question.  The good news is you really can't go wrong either way.  Since you have been to Walt Disney World twice already, I suggest going on a Disney Cruise!  That's based on three things in my mind:
    • A Disney Cruise will be a new experience for everybody
    • Cars Land will appeal to guests of all ages, but it is definitely something your toddler will enjoy in a couple of years.
    • Cars Land will still be popular and busy in 2013; it will be extremely busy when it opens next month and, based on similar experiences in the past, for the rest of the year.

A good compromise might be to combine a couple of nights at Walt Disney World before or after your cruise.  If you do that, I suggest going to Walt Disney World before.  A cruise is very relaxing and I think that is the perfect way to end your vacation.

We have specialists on the panel for both Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line, so be sure to write back to one of them with more questions!
