Need help planning - Disney Cruise or WDW? We are celebrating 40th birthday in Oct. for HUGE Disney fan. We are trying to decide what to do - we've been to WDW SEVERAL times, but never in October. We've NEVER been on a cruise, let alone a Disney Cruise.

    Hello Debra,

You sound like you're in the same boat as I am - no pun intended!

My family has never set sail on the Disney Cruise Line (DCL). Disney World just has so much to offer! But Andi, the Disney Cruise Line Specialist on the Moms Panel, and other fellow panelists like Marisol and Leslie, have convinced me that sailing onboard one of DCL's ships is on my family's to-do list SOON!

I won't lie. October is a great time of year to go to Disney World. The weather's fantastic. And I have found crowd levels to be really manageable. And on many nights, there's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Will you be traveling with children? The DCL offers so many activities and amenities for families. The kids will be busy all day long! And the food. Oye! I've heard so many fabulous things about dining on the ships. Makes me want to sail today just for the cuisine!

And you know - there are always Land & Sea Disney Vacation...

Since you have never done a DCL cruise, I say do it! I can't think of a better way to make a 40th birthday more magical than on the high seas!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
