    Hey there, NANDISH!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! Each of us here at planDisney loves to share our own experiences as Guests and send out the tips and insights we've picked up over all our years of enjoying Disney vacations.

Happy 40th Birthday in advance! I find that a celebration of any big event, especially a milestone birthday, is always more magical when celebrated at Walt Disney World Resort.

Why not start your birthday celebration by gifting yourself a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation package. You can take an easy do-it-yourself approach using the "Book Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Today" planning tools to book your Resort hotel and purchase your theme park tickets. If you'd prefer, you can also call the Walt Disney Travel Company for help with booking your vacation package by calling them directly at (407) 939-5277.

Before you get started with planning your birthday bash, you'll want to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar just to make sure there are theme park reservations available for your travel dates.

Now let me share a few quick steps to help you with the "Book Your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Today" features.

Start with entering your travel dates and travel party information, and you'll see a list of Walt Disney World Resort hotels that might be an option. You'll likely want to narrow down your choices, and you can use the search filters to do this. For example, you can filter for budget-friendly Value Resort Hotels, Moderate Resort Hotels, or birthday-splurge Deluxe Resort Hotels. If you're looking to stay close to a theme park so that you can, for example, walk over to Magic Kingdom Park or EPCOT, you can filter for Resort location. You can also check out Special Offers, Deals & Discounts to see if there's an offer that interests you. When it comes to choosing a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I find that there's just about something for every vacation style  preference and budget, and they each offer some of that Disney magic to make your stay special.

After you select your Resort hotel, you be prompted to add your theme park admission tickets. For you, this should be an easy choice because you already know that you want a 3-Day Ticket. You can then add options to your ticket. It sound like you'll want either the Water Parks and Sports Option (this give you admission to one theme park per day, plus water park visits) or the Park Hopper Plus Option (this give you admission to more than one theme park per day, plus water park visits). I always recommend a Park Hopper Option for added flexibility to hop from park to park and enjoy even more theme park fun.

What I find really convenient about the vacation package planning tools is that you can save and compare different packages to see which one is a best-fit for your birthday celebration.

After you've completed your booking, you'll want to use the Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations.

You mentioned Disney Springs, and I highly recommend making a visit, especially if you choose to enjoy a birthday dinner at one of the many fabulous Disney Springs restaurants.

Here's wishing you a great, big, beautiful birthday at Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
