Hi there, Delilah, and welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy that you’ve found us here! It sounds like you’re gearing up for some amazing dining during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. One of my favorite things about visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth is the abundance of amazing dining options. You’re in for a treat!
Delilah, the question you’ve asked is such a good one! Arriving at your hotel and hopping on the Disney Skyliner for dinner sounds like a magical way to start your vacation! I’m a huge fan of
Sebastian’s Bistro and recommend it all the time. I think it would be a perfect first dinner! A quick-service dinner followed by dessert at Beaches & Cream also sounds amazing, and wouldn’t tie you down to a specific reservation time, in case your timeline is fluid. Another great thing about quick-service meals is that most locations offer
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, which you can do in advance. If you’re starving after a day of travel, getting your food quickly might be a game-changer!
Here’s a little more about Sebastian’s Bistro: the delicious Caribbean-inspired fare is served family-style, is all-you-care-to-eat, and the price includes soft drinks and coffee. You can order and pay for adult and specialty beverages separately. Though you’ll be tempted to fill up on the delicious pull-apart rolls, save room for all that’s to come! The dessert is a showstopper - bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream! I’m getting hungry just thinking about it! You could always make a dining reservation for your arrival day and then decide closer to time whether or not to keep it - at this time, you're able to cancel your reservation up to two hours beforehand without penalty.
If you need a recommendation on where to get a delicious quick-service meal, try
Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort. The Croque Monsieur is calling my name! Not only is it a treat to stroll the grounds of this beautiful resort, the food is great! If you’ve never experienced the view from
Topolino’s Terrace, head up for a drink at the bar and pop outside to enjoy the spectacular views from the terrace. I recommend a reservation if you’re hoping to dine here, but you don’t need one to go to the bar!
From Riviera, you can easily hop back on the
Skyliner and head to
Beaches & Cream for dessert. Stick around to catch a glimpse of the fireworks, but you might want to board the Skyliner before the show is finished to get a jump on the crowds.
Delilah, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to make your plans! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have about dining - or anything else! We are here and happy to help!
Bon appetit!
