Hi there! i need help with this one. Please tell me how you feel about staying at 2 resorts.. i want to stay at Pop Century 4/17 to 4/21 then Animal Kingdom Lodge 4/21 to 4/24- what do you think? bad idea? Please any advice would help ! thanks :)

    Hi, Victoria!

So many resorts, so little time!  Often times, guests want to experience different locations, so they divide their vacation between two resorts.  You can certainly do this, and bell services will be happy to help with the transfer of your luggage.

    Pros of splitting your stay:
-You get to see two fabulous resorts.
-Kind of fun to know that your vacation is not over, just a change of scenery.
-Your room at Pop Century will be much cheaper over Animal Kingdom, so you will save money.

    Cons of splitting your stay:
-If you plan on having the Disney Dining Plan, you will have to purchase tickets separately for each leg of your stay.  This will add to your total cost of your park tickets.
-You will need to book two different reservations.  You cannot book two resorts onto one reservation.
-You will need to check out of Pop by 11 am and your next room may not be ready until after 3 pm, so you will be without a room for several hours, so plan for this if you want mid-day breaks or naps.

I have never split my vacation between resorts.  My main reason is with a family of four, I am simply too lazy to pack everyone up and start all over again!  I like to get settled my first day then just relax until it is time to go home.  However, if you are "get up and go" kind of family, then "Go For It!"  and have fun exploring two awesome Disney Resorts!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
