I need help with making dinning reservations for a party of 10. our party is 6 adults, a 12yr, 11yr, 4yr, and 2yr. We are looking to make reservations for dinner Sept 27th-29th. We would like to aim for the Blue Bayou on the 28th. Can someone help me?

Ahoy, Stephani and welcome to planDisney!

I’m Captain Shantel and I will be more than happy to help you plan out your visit. Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort can begin scheduling their dining reservations 60 days before their visit. It does seem like you are in your booking window so let’s what tips I can share to help.

To schedule a dining reservation, you will want to check the restaurant availability. Don’t worry matey, all you need is the number of Guests, date, and the time you are wanting to dine. Since you are visiting as a larger party, I recommend checking availability every day and for any time you are comfortable with dining. I have found when we visit as a larger group, it is sometimes easier to divide our reservation into 2 separate parties. Once we arrive at the restaurant, we usually let the Cast members know that these 2 reservations are together, and they do try their best to seat us close to one another.

Stephani, I know the waters can get rough but please don’t worry just yet. I recommend continuing to check for availability using the Disneyland mobile app periodically throughout the day. I sometimes even find that I have the best luck early in the morning, so I always check then.

I do hope these tips help you navigate through the seas, Stephani. Please, don’t hesitate to ask if you need any more help when it comes to planning for your visit.
