Hey there, Vlada, and welcome to planDisney!
Like Chez Remy from
Ratatouille says, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.” I love that you’re planning ahead so that you can secure your party’s seats to eat all of the good stuff at Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s get into how to make
advance dining reservations.
Advance dining reservations can be made up to 60 days before your vacation. If you’re staying at one of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, you can actually make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days in advance plus 10 days of your vacation. At the start of the 60-day reservation window, bookings usually open around 6 a.m. EST.
To make an advance dining reservation, visit the Walt Disney World website, click on the “Things To Do” tab, and look for the “Dining—Make Reservations” section. You can also check for availability and book your reservations via the
My Disney Experience App. Click on the plus sign (+) at the bottom of the main screen and select “Check Dining Availability.” Once you’re able to make your reservations, you can modify or cancel them up to 2 hours before your dining time (for most restaurants on property).
My favorite reservations to make for my family are restaurants that include some kind of character meet-and-greet or interactive experience. I highly recommend EPCOT’s
Garden Grill Restaurant, Magic Kingdom Park’s
The Crystal Palace, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park’s
Tusker House Restaurant. Think outside of the theme parks as well, like visiting a hotel’s restaurant like Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s
California Grill or a Disney Springs restaurant like
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’.
AN EXTRA GEM: The
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom during your vacation. Don’t miss the gorgeous topiaries of classic Disney and Pixar characters and the delicious bites throughout the theme park. You can simply walk up to the various Outdoor Kitchens because they are stand-alone booths full of culinary delights!
Hopefully you have some ideas about where to chow down when you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. Vlada, if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions,

Magic always,
