Hi D.,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you’re ready to unleash the Genie for your next Walt Disney World vacation!
The first few steps are making sure your
Theme Park tickets are linked in the
My Disney Experience mobile app and that you have
Disney Park Pass reservations. You can quickly check on your tickets by going to the “Tickets and Passes” section of the mobile app.
Now that those beginning steps are done, let’s talk
Disney Genie+ Service. Since you probably have tickets,
here are some steps that will help you walk through the process. Whether you only have tickets or you’ve paired them in a package, you should be able to add Disney Genie+ with those steps. If you’re having any issues, connect with the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands desk!
You can also purchase
Individual Lightning Lanes separately, which are for popular attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Avatar Flight of Passage. If you’re staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, or Shades of Green, you’ll be able to make these reservations at 7:00 a.m. on the day you want them. If you’re not staying on property, then you’ll book them at Theme Park opening.
Finally, remember with Disney Genie+, you’re able to book your first Genie+ Lightning Lane entry at 7:00 a.m. under the “My Genie Day” section of the app (on the “Tip Board” tab)! You’ll want to plan ahead to figure out what ride you’re trying to book. Because you’ll have your Service, tickets, and Disney Park Passes all linked, you should be able to make your first reservation. Keep in mind that you’re able to book your next Genie+ reservation once you’ve tapped into your first ride or two hours after the Theme Park opens, whichever comes first!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare to add in some Genie magic to your trip.
If you have any other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
