I need help linking my friends Disney tickets to my account

Hello Debbie! Your visit to The Most Magical Place On Earth is right around the corner. How exciting!

I, too, am looking forward to an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit with my fellow planDisney friends. Since I will also need to coordinate things like Virtual Queues, Lightning Lanes, and Individual Lightning Lanes, you’ve come to the right place!

If you are having issues linking your friends' Theme Park Tickets to your MyDisney account, it is likely because tickets can only be linked once, and your friends have already linked them to their own accounts. Hakuna Matata, you will need to connect everyone to your Family & Friends List to make plans as a group.

Here’s what I would suggest. Once you and your friends are all together and have downloaded and signed into your respective My Disney Experience apps/accounts, you will need to do the following:

    • Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner).
    • Scroll to the “Account” section and select “Profile”.
    • At the top of the next screen, select the “Family & Friends” tab.
    • Click “Add a Guest”.’
    • Select “Scan their linking code”.
    • Have your friends open their My Disney Experience apps, navigate to the “Profile” screen, and select “Show My Linking Code.”
    • Tap on the blue box, “Scan Linking Code”.

Once you’re all linked, they will appear on your Family & Friends List, which will allow you to make plans together as a group. Say you connect with one friend who has multiple people already on his/her Family & Friend List. You can navigate back to the “Add a Guest” tab of your profile and select “Find through my connected Guests,” and you can add friends that way!

If you need suggestions on great activities for groups of friends, I suggest swinging by Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach and renting a Beachcomber Shack or Polar Patio for the day. You could also book something from the Enchanting Extras Collections. One of my planDisney besties, Jenna J, and I would recommend the La Cava Experience in EPCOT and the Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But don’t take my word for it. Hear it directly from Jenna herself in the attached video!

    Wishing you a fantastic time,
