We need help with getting tickets and setting up visit to park. Also what rides we need to reserve and how. Saw someone made appointments to make light savers

    Hello, Lisa!

Don't worry! You came to the right place. The planDisney team will help you set up this trip in a jiff!

First, you will have to decide on a ticket type. Your two options are a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. The main difference between these two alternatives is that the second one will allow you to go back and forth between the two theme parks on the same day after 1:00 p.m. This ticket is an excellent choice if you're only visiting for two days, as it will give you a lot of flexibility to revisit your favorite places and attractions. So if your budget can accommodate Park Hopper tickets, I'd suggest going with them.

Now let's talk about selecting attractions. Before moving forward in this answer, go to your phone and download the Disneyland Mobile App. This app will be the key to unlocking your magical trip. Go on. I'll wait here, no rush.

You will use this app to make dining reservations (they're already open for your travel dates), and there are many incredible places to discover at the Disneyland Resort. If you see a table to have a drink at Oga's Cantina, don't blink and get it. I promise you won't regret it!

Now let's talk about attractions! Once you enter each theme park every day, you will be able to use a complimentary service called Disney Genie. The Disney Genie will help you plan your day and choose the best attractions for your party at each moment.

If you want to be more strategic with your time, you can upgrade to Genie+, and this add-on service will let you select individual attractions that you will access through a shorter queue. These shorter queues are called Lightning Lanes, and they will save you quite some time on a busy day.

However, some attractions are not included with Genie+ and can be purchased separately. These are called Individual Lightning Lanes. If you have the budget and your trip is short, I strongly advise you to use Individual Lightning Lane purchases for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park and Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure. They're by far my favorites at the Disneyland Resort, and they're both mind-blowing in their own style!

If you follow all these steps, you're in for an extraordinary trip to the Disneyland resort, dear Lisa! If you have more questions along the way, don't hesitate to come back. We'll be here to guide you!

May the magic be with you,
