I need help!! This is our first trip with our 31/2 year old little girl! Was planning on going to Magic Kingdom 1 day and night for trick or treating, Aninal Kingdom, and HollyWood Studios. Getting mixed review on Animal Kingdom??

Hi Jena!  The Animal Kingdom park is always on our list to visit for every vacation at Walt Disney World. It is obviously a personal opinion but I did just return in May from taking my 3 year old grandson once again to this park and would definitely recommend it!

There are attractions that are not appropriate for the little ones but we find many great things to see and do while in the park.  He loves the Lion King show as well as the Safari.  I consider this a definite stroller park as it is large and it keeps the young ones fresher being in a stroller then asking them to walk the entire day.  With that said my grandson loves the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail to view the gorillas and the Maharajah Jungle Trek to see the tigers.

Its Tough To Be A Bug is a cute show but can be intimidating to the younger crowd. If you do decide to try it be sure you sit in the back on the left side which will get you as far away from the mean old dude who comes out to be nasty to us humans in the audience! Finding Nemo is another good show for this age and the Boneyard is a fun place to let them go free and wild for a bit to expel some energy.

My grandson loves Rafiki's Planet Watch as you take a short train ride to get there and once there the kids have great opportunities for hands on touching of various animals.  The last time he was able to pet a very nice alligator!

There are spots along the way for the younger set to enjoy different character greetings and other fun.  My grandson loves the drums as you enter the Africa section...so much we have to fight to get him away!  The parade in the afternoon is cute and full of all your favorite Disney friends.  I love my day in this park during every visit!
