Need help deciding where to stay! BW or WL? We have an 8y/o and a 5y/o. Want to do MK and Epcot. Want to be able to do MK for some of the day, return to hotel and then go back for extra hours in eve. Does any of the boat launches go to Contemporary

The Wilderness Lodge is closest in proximity to Magic Kingdom.  A stay there would make for convenient travel back and forth between the Magic Kingdom for a mid-afternoon respite.  Additionally, your children are the perfect age to be really wowed by the impressive lobby at Wilderness Lodge and they'd likely have a great time dining at Whispering Canyon Cafe, located inside the Wilderness Lodge.  If I were planning your trip for you, I'd opt for a stay at the Wilderness Lodge.

The Contemporary Resort does have a boat launch that transports guests to Fort Wilderness or the Wilderness Lodge.  I hope that helps.  Good luck with your decision!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
