Need help! On our day at MK, trying to decide between lunch at Crystal Palace and watching Wishes in the park or dinner @ Kona (7:45 ADR) and watching from Poly beach. (FW at 9pm) We will be going back to MK for MNSSHP another day. Kids: 9, 6, 3..Thanks!

    Hi Elizabeth!

Normally, I would say stay in the park and see Wishes.  Only because it's gorgeous to see it up close above Cinderella Castle.  In your case, I would go to dinner at Kona and watch Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian.  Since you're going back to Magic Kingdom another night for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (FABULOUS, by the way), you'll get to see the fireworks the way they should be seen; from inside the park.  Don't get too close to the Castle.  My favorite spot is in The Crystal Palace restaurant area.  Look for the small black iron railing in front of the restaurant and stand along a place
there.  The view is perfect.  Make sure you don't have any trees blocking your view.

I think that by doing this, you'll get to experience a lot more.  I hope this helps!  Have a wonderful time on your trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
