HI! Need help choosing resort, stayed at AKL B4 and loved it. Will be me, DH, DS7,DS4, andDS2. Looking for fun, and affordable. Seems suite at new Art resort and ALK are comparable in price. should we go for suite at vaule or single room at deluxe?

Hi Celeste! This is always one of the hardest decisions for families as they prepare for their Walt Disney World vacation.  Picking from all the great resorts is hard as they all have something unique to offer.

The biggest question you need to ask yourself is how much time will you be spending in your room and at your resort.  My family does not like to cram into a small space and feel like we don't have room to move around.  The one deluxe room will not be large and you will have only one bathroom. By booking the suite you will get the two full bathrooms and these suites will be about double what a standard size value resort room is making it much larger then the one deluxe.

If you feel you will be putting kids to nap or wanting time once they are in bed then I would definitely book the Art of Animation suites.  The benefit for the deluxe is if you wouldn't spend any time in your room and simply using it for sleeping purposes. The deluxe resorts are generally closer to the parks and they have more amenities such as dining and recreation.

Even though the Art of Animation resort is a value and further from the parks we have been told that it will have its own designated bus so you will not be sharing with any other resort. This makes it appealing as well.

My vote...Art of Animation new resort. The rooms will be fresh and updated with all the latest technology and amenities. I can't wait to try it myself!
