Need help changing reservation date. When not logged it all of January 2023 shows available. However, when I cancelled 1/9/23 to reserve 1/7/23 the site said that weekend was not available for both parks.

Hey there, hi there, Larissa! We appreciate that you've stopped by planDisney to ask us a question about your ticket reservation. I'd be happy to help you get this sorted out!

At Disneyland Resort, one-day tickets are tier-based. These tiers range from Tier 0 to Tier 6 depending on the popularity of the day. The reason that you are not seeing availability for January 7, 2023, even though the calendar has availability for the parks is that the ticket you purchased was originally for January 9, 2023. Your original date of January 9, 2023, is a Tier 0 day, and January 7, 2023, is a Tier 6 day. This means you will need to upgrade your ticket in order for you to be able to make a reservation for a higher tier day than what you currently hold. I suggest reaching out to Ticket Services to inquire about upgrade options if you are wanting to book a different day.

If you do get your ticket upgraded and moved to January 7, 2023, you will be able to experience one of the last days of Disney Festival of the Holidays! This takes place in Disney California Adventure Park and is full of amazing entertainment and marketplace kiosks of the best small plates and drinks from different cultures and holiday traditions. I recommend a returning favorite, the Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido from the Brews & Bites marketplace.

Larissa, I hope you can get your theme park ticket reservations switched and can have the most magical day at Disneyland Resort soon!
