I need help on where to begin a short trip with my friends and I

    Hi Anna,

Friend's trips are some of my favorite trips to go on, and since Walt Disney World Resort has something for everyone, I know you and your friends are going to have a blast. Before we get into the details, make sure you have the following items crossed off your list: purchase your tickets, secure your Park Pass Reservations, and book your resort accommodations.

Now that you have that out of the way, prioritizing interests will be critical since you are planning a short trip. I would poll your friends about what they love to do. Are they foodies? Thrill-seekers? Disney Princess lovers or Jedis in training? After you have a good idea of what everyone's "must-dos" are, you can begin planning your trip.

If you and your friends love dining, I would highly suggest planning your visit around EPCOT and one of its many festivals. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is set to begin soon. Not only does it feature culinary delights from around the world, but it also celebrates the many mediums of art. I love strolling around the International Showcase and looking at the incredible murals. An added plus to an EPCOT day, of course, is getting to ride Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. I don't want to spoil it but zipping around with Chef Remy is an experience you won't want to miss. I always end my EPCOT nights with a fantastic meal at one of the incredible restaurants at the park. After you get your Park Pass Reservations, be sure to get a dining reservation for one of the fantastic offerings, such as Space 220.

Speaking of can't miss experiences, if the force is as strong with you and your friends as it is with me, then you are going to want to spend a large chunk of your short visit at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge put you smack tab in the middle of one of the greatest cinematic films. I always show up right at rope drop to join the Resistance in a heart-pounding battle against the First Order on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Then I head over to prove how great a pilot I am on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. You and your friends can build custom lightsabers at Savi's Workshop at the Black Spire Outpost for the true Jedi. Disney's Hollywood Studios also features amazing thrill rides such as the Rock' n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. Even the immersive Toy Story Land will help bring out the kid in you and your friends.

I could talk forever about all the incredible ways you can maximize your trip, but the new Genie service might be able to help you narrow it down even further. Genie enables you to create an itinerary based on you and your friend's wish list. Just input your different must-dos, and Genie will make a planned out day for you.

Once you narrow down your list, feel free to come back, and I can help you plan your magical friends' trip further.
