I need to get from Grand Floridian to Swan Convention Center on 11/23/21 by 7:30 AM. I'm thinking my only option is a ride share. 1. Where to I tell them to pick me up. 2. What time do I need to leave to make sure I arrive no later than 7:30.

    Hi Lee,

We are delighted to see you stopping by planDisney with a question!

We have started budgeting for a few ride shares, especially when we need to get to early morning breakfast reservations. On my last visit in September, it seemed to take a little longer to secure a ride. My advice would be to call your ride by 6:45 a.m. to make sure you arrive on time. This might put your arrival a little early, but I prefer to be early rather than panicked about finding an Uber or Lyft!

When we have called for rides, we selected the option to get picked up from the resort hotel lobby or main entrance area. I have been so thankful to have ride share services as an option. They have certainly helped us when Resort Transportation was not an option!

It sounds like you might be headed to a conference during your visit. I love attending conferences in the Orlando area. If you have not done so, consider purchasing theme park tickets. Also make a few advanced dining reservations and be sure to have the My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded so that you can make and modify plans while in the parks and resorts.

Lee, I trust you will arrive on time to your event! If you have park plans, Keep your eyes on the operational updates in case policies and procedures change. Happy planning!

    Magic and memories,
