Jambo, Anna!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. I am so excited to help a fellow Bay State Guest today. Anna, we love staying in the Disney Vacation Club Resorts, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village is one of our favorites. Not only is it one of the most immersive Disney Vacation Club Resorts, with animals in the savannah free to roam around all day. But it is also educational and a really unique experience while enjoying all of the magic that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.
Anna, if you are staying in a
one-bedroom Villa or larger, your Villa will have a full-sized kitchen that will include a refrigerator with a freezer. If you are staying in a Deluxe Studio, these rooms come with a kitchenette with a mini fridge. Unfortunately, I was unable to confirm if the mini fridge has a freezer area, though sometimes they do have small ones that can fit a freezer pack. However, often, these small fridges are just "beverage coolers" that only go as low as 41 F degrees. But, I did chat with Guest Services who said that while you can't request an additional freezer to your room, you can speak to the Front Desk who should be able to help you with your cooling needs.
Once you arrive at the Resort, speak to the Front Desk about your needs to store your freezer packs and either they or Bell Services should have a place to store your freezer packs. You should be able to bring it to them in the evening and pick it up in the morning. Additionally, there are
First Aid Centers in the parks that can assist you should you need something during your park days.
I hope this helps you, Anna! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back and see us and we will be so happy to assist you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
