Welcome, Todd!
We're thrilled to have you here at planDisney. It sounds like you are planning a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few months. It's completely understandable to want your plans to be in tip-top shape to ensure a clear path to the magic once you arrive. Let's jump into your question to put your mind at ease so you can focus on the fun!
We actually get this question quite a bit, so you are not alone in wondering how to fix it! Truth be told, you actually do not need to make edits to the names on
theme park tickets, even if there are small typos here and there. Tickets are not officially assigned to a particular Guest until they are used to scan into the park for the very first time. At that point, the
new turnstiles will actually take a photo of the Guest, which will pop up anytime someone scans in with that ticket. This is when the ticket officially belongs to that Guest. I have personally used a ticket that I originally purchased for my husband with no issue, which still had his name attached. If you still have your heart set on making this change, you would need to call
Guest Services directly.
I hope we've put your mind at ease, Todd! With the timing of your visit, you will be able to enjoy the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which kicks off on March 6th, 2026! In addition to all the traditional magic you will find at Cars Land, Avengers Campus, and Pixar Pier, you can eat and drink your way through the park with limited-time snacks and treats. I highly recommend getting a
Sip and Savor Pass, which you can redeem for food and drink options throughout the festival so you can really get a taste for all the offerings! As we get closer to the launch date, more details will be revealed, so keep your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog for more information!
Todd, I hope this has been helpful! Wishing you and your son a magical Disney adventure next year! If you have any more questions, come back to see us here at
planDisney anytime!
See ya real soon!
