Welcome to planDisney, Dennis! So glad you were able to successfully purchase your tickets. Now let’s figure out the best way to access them, and you’ll be on your way to the magic quicker than you can say, “Hakuna Matata!”
After purchasing your Theme Park tickets, you should have received an email from Walt Disney World with a confirmation number and details about your order. I recommend checking your email inbox to locate your confirmation email. While there is no way to print a physical ticket via this email, you can use the confirmation number to
link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. After your tickets are linked digitally, you have a few options for accessing them for entry into the parks.
If you prefer physical tickets, you can visit a Ticket Window outside any of the Theme Parks or the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. Be sure to bring the credit card used to purchase the tickets, the person who purchased the tickets, and a photo ID with you when you go to pick up your Theme Park tickets. If you would like to obtain your ticket cards before your first park day, I recommend heading to the Ticket Center in
Disney Springs. In my experience, the service here has always been prompt, and you can use the opportunity to explore the fantastic offering in Disney Springs.
If you’re not sold on the physical Theme Park ticket option, I have a few other recommendations for you. One option is to use a
MagicBand as your ticket to enter the Theme Parks. New MagicBands are available for an additional cost, but if you have one from a previous visit it may still work! Since you wear a MagicBand on your wrist like a watch, they are convenient and easy to keep up with.
Another option is to create a
Disney Magic Mobile Pass in the
My Disney Experience app. In my opinion, MagicMobile Passes are the most convenient option for entering the Theme Parks. The pass allows Guests to tap into the Theme Parks using an Apple or Android device that meets the minimum requirements. MagicMobile passes are an extremely convenient - and free - option to have, even if used as a backup to one of the options mentioned above!
I hope this helps, Dennis! The magic awaits!
Until Next Time,
PG
