Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Debbie. I'm so glad you stopped by! It looks like your
Disneyland Resort vacation is just about to begin. How exciting!
The Disneyland Resort is committed to making sure that all Guests have an accessible, safe, and magical visit.
Disability Access Service is one of the many services available to assist Guests visiting the theme parks. DAS is designed specifically for Guests who have difficulty with extended wait times in conventional queues due to a disability. The program was recently updated to include a pre-registration option. It's super convenient! Eligible Guests can now pre-register for DAS Advance virtually with a Cast Member. Pre-registration may be completed as soon as 30-days in advance of a park visit, but no less than 2-days before arrival. That's to say, I recommend beginning the pre-registration process as soon as possible!
To get started, visit the
Planning with Disability Access Service page on the Disneyland Resort website. Scroll down to the section titled, 'Ready to Chat with a Cast Member?' Log in to your Disney account and click on the 'Request Live Chat' button. It's important to note that live chat is only available from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Pacific Time. I've heard a few reports of long wait times, so I suggest carving out a good chunk of time in case you experience the same.
I hope this was helpful, Debbie. I'm wishing you a magical visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth!"
Ashley
