Need to make a final choice by today around noon(early afternoon)...would like to know for a family coming w/ 3 teenage boys for our first trip there what is your opinion on staying at either of the Animal Kingdom villas vs. Baytowers villas @ Contemp.?!?

    Hi Denise!

As the mom of a teenage son, I completely understand the need to consider the interests of everyone in your travel party when planning your Walt Disney World vacation.

As far as onsite amenities, swimming and meal options, both resorts offering outstanding choices. Boma- Flavors of Africa at Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my favorite table-service meal locations. However, the secluded tropical oasis of Bay Lake Tower's Bay Cove Pool is absolutely delightful.

Therefore, I would recommend that you base your decision more on your park touring and dining needs. If you'll be spending a lot of time at Magic Kingdom Park or Epcot, then the ease of monorail transportation available at the Contemporary resort really can't be beat. If your sons would really enjoy more time at the Animal Kingdom Park and the ability to perhaps see animals from your resort room balcony, then the villas in this area make the most sense.

I've enjoyed both Bay Lake Tower and Animal Kingdom Villas with my own family and had an incredible experience at both resort locations. You're certain to have a magical trip with either option!

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
