Hi, Kathryn! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh, no! I'm so sorry you're having difficulty buying tickets for your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. It may be the most wonderful time of the year, but it's also the most popular time of the year for many Guests to head to Walt Disney World. Let's see if we can still make your Disney dream come true!
I just took a peek at the
Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar, and it does look like the
Magic Kingdom Park is already booked up for all of next week. That doesn't necessarily mean you have to miss out, though! Since
EPCOT does have reservations available for your arrival date of December 29 as well as December 30, you may be able to do a little park hopping! To do that, you'll need to purchase your tickets with the
Park Hopper Option added,
link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account, and make a
Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT on the day you plan to visit. Then, you
must go to EPCOT first that day, and you may hop to the Magic Kingdom Park when park hopping hours begin at 2 p.m.
One note here: Park hopping is not guaranteed, and may be limited if the theme parks reach capacity. Having said that, I'm writing to you on Christmas Day, one of the absolute busiest days in the parks all year, and Guests are being allowed to hop to all parks today, including the Magic Kingdom. Just be sure to keep an eye on the "Park Hours" section of your
My Disney Experience mobile app. As long as you see park hopping hours listed there for the Magic Kingdom, you'll be able to hop there in the afternoon.
Kathryn, I hope this gives you an idea to help you plan a pixie-dusted afternoon and evening at the Magic Kingdom Park! Thank you so much for stopping by to see your planDisney pals, and I wish you a magical holiday season!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
