Need fast pass For Avatar for 8 to get in August 12 for some who cant afford to stay in the park to allow them 30 days in advance compared to 90 days for those who are We've tried for the week and all booked. Any ideas what we can do to get in?

    Hey there, Patricia!

Even with the perk of staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel that allows you to book FastPass+ 60 days in advance, it is really hard to score a time for Avatar Flight of Passage. It can be frustrating, but I do have a method that seems to work pretty well for my family.

If you cannot get a FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage, my best advice is to go early or go late. If you can get to Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park just before they open, so that you are one of the first guests into the park that morning, head straight for the attraction. I have always managed a wait time of less than an hour doing things this way. Check the theme park hours on the day you want to go, and avoid days that have extra magic hours, if you can. The morning tactic may not work on a day the park is open to resort guests earlier than the general public.

The second plan is to go late. The line does not close until the actual closing time of the theme park, so you can get into the line as late as the posted closing time at the park. By late in the evening, especially as guests are going to the Rivers of Light show, the line gets shorter. You may even notice that a wait time posted of 45 minutes turns into 35 when you calculate the actual wait time. This plan has worked for us every time.

Have a great time, and enjoy your visit!
