Hi Lauren,
So glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are almost home.
Walt Disney World Resort celebrates Easter with religious services at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Although there’s no direct transportation provided from other Disney Resort hotels, it’s easy to get to it. On Easter Sunday this year, Magic Kingdom Park will open at 8am.
Complimentary Resort Transportation starts operating approximately one hour before park opens, giving you plenty of time to arrive to the theme park. From Magic Kingdom Park, you can either walk to Disney’s Contemporary Resort or take the monorail. Walking should only take you five to ten minutes, so depending on your pace, it could be faster.
After celebrating mass, there are lots of activities for you to take advantage of. Mr. And Mrs. Easter Bunny are available for meet & greet in Town Square Courtyard at Magic Kingdom Park, throughout the day. And the
Egg-stravaganza continues at Epcot. It is a very fun hunt, where you look for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney characters. Check out the article at the Disney Parks Blog about it. Also, take a look at your resort’s Recreation Calendar as there are some egg-citing activities planned as well.
Hope that you have an egg-celent vacation.
Ricardo.
