Hi Moms! I need some expert advice here!! This is our first Disney trip (for early June) and I have two sons (5 and 2 yo). What character meals would be good for us? How many should I take them to? (we're staying a week). Thank you!!

Hi Susan!  Character meals are always a big event for the little ones.  There are several to choose from that are my favorites.  I would suggest you review all of them on the website to see if you think one more then another might interest your boys.  Click HERE to reach the dining link. You will see Dining Experiences at the bottom left, click on that and then click on Character Dining to see all the choices.

My grandchildren love Chef Mickey, as mister magic himself, Mickey Mouse, is joined by many of his famous friends such as Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Minnie.  There are two great breakfast experiences with one being Cape May Cafe with Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale. The other is in the Animal Kingdom park at the Tusker House restaurant called Donald's Safari Breakfast.  Donald Duck of course is the main star for this meal!

Based on the different characters you might also enjoy the Crystal Palace where Pooh and friends stop by for a quick visit during your meal.  Hollywood and Vine in the Hollywood Studios gathers such popular names from JoJo's Circus and the Little Einsteins.

As you can see there are many choices so choose according to the favorite characters of your sons.  Please also remember that this is a general list of dining appearances but it can change or alter on any given day.  I don't think it is necessary that you fill your trip with nothing but character dining but I know my grandsons love them and I usually make reservations for at least two or three when staying a week.
