If we need to use our DVC points from 2 different "use yrs" (Feb/Dec, both BLT) for a 5 day visit in May 2015, are we subject to the 7 month reservation rule, or can we book some days from one "use yr" and the remaining days from the ot

    Howdy Thomas!!!

Let me begin by telling you how impressed my husband and I are with you.  We have multiple contracts all with a December use year.  It can be difficult for us to keep track of everything at times.  I cannot imagine what it must be like to have multiple use years.  You are my new DVC hero!!

I called Member Services because I wanted to confirm my answer.  The 7/11 month rule does still apply regardless of your use year.

We have booked many trips online on the Disney Vacation Club Member website.  Whenever we cross into multiple use years, I have found it easier to contact DVC Member Services and ask the Cast Members to assist me with my reservation.  While our scenario is not exactly the same as yours, I would still encourage you to call Member Services and have them assist you with your reservation if you have any challenges at all when booking online.

May is such a great time of year and I love that you are already planning your 2015 vacation!  Nice!!!

Thanks so much for your question and please let me know if you need any further information as you plan your vacation. Have a magical day!
