Ahoy, Cynthia! Welcome aboard planDisney! It's great to have you with us.
I'm happy to hear that you'll be sailing aboard the enchanting
Disney Wish. I just know you will love the beautifully appointed vessel, with its delightful details, and exquisite design built for fun and entertainment. I absolutely love the main dining restaurants onboard:
1923,
Worlds of Marvel, and
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure. Each of these three main dining restaurants welcomes cruise casual attire at dinner.
Cruise casual attire means that shorts and t-shirts are permitted. Swimsuits and tank tops are not permitted at dinner.
One night onboard, an optional "dress-up night" will be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You will see some guests in dresses, jackets, and suits. At the same time, some will be in casual attire, so I encourage you to wear what is most comfortable for you and your sailing crew.
Unique to Disney Cruise Line is a swashbuckling
Pirate Night on one of the evenings onboard. This night, you will encounter buccaneers for a special bash that concludes with fireworks! Many of your fellow cruisers will dress up for the occasion and you may see them wear their pirate garb to dinner. Join in the fun if you'd like to dress as a pirate for the evening.
There are two adult-exclusive specialty restaurants onboard the Disney Wish,
Enchanté and
Palo Steakhouse. These restaurants do have a dress code to keep in line with the elegance of the spaces. If you'll be dining in either of these restaurants, please be sure to pack semi-formal or formal attire.
Lastly, I want to clue you in on something that I noticed just last month on the Disney Wish. A handful of guests were theming their dinner attire to the specific restaurant in which they were dining each night. For example, I saw a few cruisers wearing Ana or Elsa costumes while dining in Arendelle, plenty of superheroes in Worlds of Marvel, and even guests dressed in 1920s-themed attire for their evening in 1923. If you like to dress up for a theme, feel free to do so! If you want to wear shorts and a comfy t-shirt each night, that's just fine too!
Happy planning, and happy packing!
