We need a double stroller for our visit in 3 weeks. Do we order it ahead, or when we get there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kimberley!

Wow, your trip is getting so close! March is a beautiful time to be vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resort and it sounds like you will be visiting with two little Mousketeers in tow- how fun! If you're still putting together your park "must-dos," make sure to stop by The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk With Crush, both located in EPCOT's Future World. These two attractions are great for families of preschoolers.

Speaking of little ones... Kimberley, you bring up a great question about renting a stroller. When my boys were younger, our rented double stroller was a life saver for little legs... not to mention Mom and Dad! Now, you have two options in renting a stroller to best fit your needs.

First, if you feel that you only need a stroller while you are in the parks, you can easily rent one near the entrance at each park and at Disney Springs. You do not need an advance reservation for this type of rental, however it might be helpful to know that if you prepay for the length of your stay (at the time of your first rental) you will be able to save a little money! These are a good option for older kids who are able to walk to and from park transportation and just need the option of a break while you're touring.

Second, if you're hoping to have a stroller more like you would at home, I recommend renting from a stroller company. The featured provider for the Walt Disney World Resort is ScooterBug and if you rent from this company you can have the stroller delivered to and picked up from your Disney Resort Hotel. This type of rental is always what my family used. We liked that the strollers reclined for easy napping and if the bus lines were long after fireworks, our kids could still be resting. In addition to ScooterBug, two other local companies we have personally tried are Orlando Stroller Rentals and Kingdom Strollers.

Kimberley, I hope this helps as you are getting your family ready for your Magical visit. Please stop back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions before your vacation.
