Hey there, Robin - how exciting that you have an upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort in just a few short weeks. It'll be even more fun with such a large group! Have you started your countdown yet?
A few of my favorite memories in the parks have been sharing meals with large groups of friends and family, though I also know it can be more challenging to plan for! With a group as large as yours, you could try to make one big
dining reservation, but your best bet might be to have a few members of your party try to make smaller reservations at the same location around the same time. You can either do this on the
Disneyland website or through the
Disneyland Mobile App (the app is my preferred method).
The dining options in the park that accept reservations are often booked pretty early since
they can be booked 60 days in advance, so it's possible you'll need to break into smaller groups and hope that the cast members are able to seat you as close together as possible.
Have you decided on where you want to eat yet? There are a number of fun
Character Breakfast options in the park, but my family's favorite is
Goofy's Kitchen at the
Disneyland Hotel. The buffet-style setup is super convenient for our family, and I absolutely love the omelet station! My favorite spot for dinner is
Wine Country Trattoria in Disney California Adventure Park - it always feels so peaceful there! While I haven't had a chance to eat at
Lamplight Lounge or
Carthay Circle Restaurant, my other planDisney panelist friends have raved about them as well.
I also wanted to mention that it might end up being an easier option for a party your size to utilize
Mobile Order instead. While visiting the parks in December with a large group of friends, we ended up finding a few large tables in the
Pacific Wharf area in Disney California Adventure Park, and each of us utilized the Mobile Order feature from the wide variety of surrounding options. Using Mobile Order would give you a lot more options to choose from!
I am ALWAYS excited to discuss food at the Disneyland Resort, so again, thank you for your question, Robin! If you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to
reply directly to me - I would love to help.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
