Hi Michael,
Welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled to see you planning a trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort!
First, let's make sure you have a
My Disney Experience account. If you do not, you will need to create one as soon as possible. Once you are logged into your My Disney Experience account, make sure you have everyone in your party linked in the
Family & Friends List. After you are logged on and everyone is linked, you can start making those
advanced dining reservations because it looks as if you are within your
reservation window. You do not need theme park tickets to make dining reservations although you will need valid theme park admission when you arrive if you are dining in a theme park.
Before you sit down to make those dining reservations, I strongly suggest that you have your park days mapped out for your trip so that you know which days you want to experience dining locations in the parks and which days you plan to dine at the resorts or at
Disney Springs. If you have included a
Disney Dining Plan with your vacation package, also calculate how many meals you will have for your stay. Remember that meals are calculated
per night of stay.
If you did not include a dining plan, I suggest that you take a look at the menus of the restaurants you plan to visit and start to price out how much your meals will cost. We always estimate the cost before we go if we are not using a dining plan so that we can budget. To find the menu of a dining location, just go to the home page for the restaurant and click on View Menu. One of our favorite restaurants is
Cinderella's Royal Table. We love to dine here for breakfast. You can review the
breakfast menu prior to your visit.
Michael, start making those dining reservations! Some locations get booked quickly. If a restaurant does not have any availability when you try to book, just keep checking. Availability may open up just before your visit. A few of our favorite dining locations are
Space 220 Lounge,
Be Our Guest Restaurant, and
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera!
Happy planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
