I need to make dining reservations for a party of 6, but I can only book for a party of 4. Is there a suggestion as to how I can book the correct # in my party. I've booked as a party of 4, but I don't want to cause a problem when we arrive.

    Welcome back to planDisney, Joyce!

We are so happy to hear from you again, and hope that you are getting excited for your trip to Disney World — it’s really going to be here so quickly, so be sure to start thinking about packing your suitcases now! (I recommend bringing a light jacket for the evenings and a small umbrella for potential afternoon showers.)

Now onward to Dining Reservations! Some restaurants (depending on the restaurant and their availability) may not have a reservation available for a party of 6. You will need to have a reservation made for all members of your party wanting to dine, Joyce, so this is what I recommend doing if you cannot get all 6 in the same reservation: Book a party of 2 for the same restaurant at the same time (or near the same time) as your party of 4 reservation. You will need to make this reservation under another Guest’s account as you cannot hold two reservations at the same time. Once you have this reservation, you can ask the host of the restaurant to seat you together, or close together, upon check-in. While this is not guaranteed to get your party together, I can say that I have had very good luck doing this in the past.

If you have additional questions, we hope to hear from you again soon! We’re always eager to help with all your vacation planning needs here at planDisney!
