Hi Angela, welcome back to planDisney! I’m so happy to discuss your upcoming vacation and one of my favorite topics -- eating at Walt Disney World!
Table service dining restaurants at Walt Disney World will accept reservations, and they’re almost always necessary. On a case-by-case basis, you can use
Mobile Dine Walk-Up to place yourself on the waitlist at participating Restaurants, but availability is not guaranteed. Also,
the Disney World website has a list of currently available restaurants that accept reservations. You have many to choose from!
Quick Service vs. Table Service are designations that are somewhat specific to
Disney Dining Plans, which are not currently available for sale. Any non-table service Restaurant you choose to enjoy will not require advance reservations. Walt Disney World further
categorizes their restaurants into Counter Service, Casual Dining, and Fine/Signature Dining. Counter Service restaurants are all also Quick Service Restaurants. Casual Dining and Fine/Signature Dining restaurants include both Table Service and Quick Service Restaurants.
When it comes to Quick Service, you will also be able to utilize
Mobile Ordering at many of these locations! This will allow you to browse the menus in advance and place orders on the go. I definitely recommend that you make sure you have the most recent version of the
My Disney Experience Mobile App downloaded on your mobile device before you leave for your next amazing Disney adventure. Also, take a peek at the
Experience Updates - Dining Pages to see a frequently updated list of which restaurants are currently operational. Angela, I hope that this information is useful to you and please come back to see us again anytime we can help in the future!
See ya real soon!
