Hi, Joelle!
If you plan on enjoying a Table Service meal when visiting the Magic Kingdom, I highly suggest securing a
Dining Reservation. Restaurants are often booked to capacity making a "walk-up" very difficult, especially Cinderella's Royal Table inside Cinderella Castle or dining with Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace.
If Quick Service will suit your needs, then you will not need Dining Reservations, and this will certainly afford you more time in your day and flexibility. The good news is that there is such a wonderful variety of Quick Service locations, you will not be stuck eating burgers the entire time. Some of my favorites....
-Fish and Chips or Clam Chowder at Columbia Harbor House
-BBQ Ribs or Chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans at
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe -Hummus and chips at
Gaston's Tavern -Flatbreads or Chicken Caesar Salad at Pinocchio Village Haus
If you decide last minute to get a Table Service Reservation, have the
Disney Parks App downloaded on your phone, and you can check availability and book on your own. Your other option is to bring snacks with you, as you are permitted to bring a small, soft sided cooler with food (no bottles or alcohol).
Whatever you decide, enjoy your two glorious days at the Magic Kingdom!
Cathy
