Hi Jaynee, and welcome to planDisney! I'm sorry to hear that you're having a little technical trouble deactivating your MagicBand+, but I'm happy to try to offer you some suggestions and mouseketools to try to fix this issue!
To deactivate your
MagicBand+, it sounds like you've taken all the right steps; when you are on the screen in your
My Disney Experience mobile app that shows all of your MagicBands, click on the band you want to deactivate and scroll down. You should see the option to "Deactivate" or to "Report as Lost". I verified this process on my own mobile app, and the options were there for each of my MagicBands. If you're not seeing these options on the app, I'd first try to update your app and be sure it is running the most recent version and try again. If it still isn't working, and you have the option to use a laptop or desktop to access the Walt Disney World Resort website, you can also deactivate online in the
MagicBand section of your profile once you've logged into your My Disney Experience account. The process is similar to the app: click on your name and you will see all of your MagicBands with an option to "Deactivate" and an option to "Report as Lost".
