Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Disney Parks value making the theme parks and other areas a welcoming and inclusive environment for all Guests. The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one way for Guests who find waiting in conventional queues a challenge to have a more magical vacation. You can pre-register via live video chat with a Cast Member as early as 30 days but at least 2 days prior to your park visit. Since your visit is coming up soon, you are able to begin this process now.
Your first stop will be the
Registering for Disability Access Service page on the website. I encourage you to read the information as you scroll down the page to find “Ready to Chat with a Cast Member?” You will need to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions by selecting the blue “Terms and Conditions” button. Once you have completed that step, you will return to the previous page and will see that the “Request Live Video Chat” button will now be blue. Just click there and you will enter the queue for a live video chat with a Cast Member.
The Cast Member will ask your husband some questions to help determine if DAS is the most useful accommodation for him. If DAS is right for his situation, he will be offered the opportunity to make
DAS Advance selections before your visit, which is super convenient. You may make more plans on the day of your visit in the
My Disney Experience app. If you or your husband have any questions or concerns on the day of your visit, please ask a member of the
Guest Experience Team (they will be under the blue umbrella and wearing blue) throughout each of the theme parks.
Marie, there are a couple of things that will make the chat process go smoothly. First, add your travel party to your
Family & Friends list and link everyone’s theme park admission in your
My Disney Experience before you begin the registration process. If you need assistance navigating that process after checking it out on the Walt Disney World website, please don’t hesitate to stop back by planDisney and let us know. And of course, make sure you have your video and audio ready to go so you will be on your way with the chat as soon as a Cast Member is available.
