Hello Daniel,
I must begin by explaining that as the current
UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, it really is my pleasure to welcome a fellow Guest who also hails from the United Kingdom! And also, as I do actually reside on this side of the pond, I can totally relate to your valid enquiries about the current pre-arrival arrangements for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
Daniel, I can share that at present the
Walt Disney Travel Company doesn't provide the utility for Guests from the United Kingdom to pre-register via live video chat for the Disability Access Service (DAS). This of course, fully explains why you've been experiencing redirection links when trying to access further information concerning the Disability Access Service (DAS).
However not to worry! Upon entrance at your very 1st Disney Theme Park, you'll be more welcome to drop into
Guest Relations to discuss with helpful Cast Members your particular needs concerning the Disability Access Service (DAS).
If appropriate for the disabled Guests' needs, they'll be able to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) at Guest Relations, plus I'm happy to share that any DAS which may be issued, will last for up to a whole 60-days!
For your added information Daniel, I thought that your family might find this link to services for
Guests with Disabilities to be a really useful planning resource for your upcoming May holiday to Walt Disney World Resort.
I sincerely hope that I've been able to provide a little reassurance for you today Daniel. Please know that you're always welcome to return to me here at planDisney if you should have any further questions concerning your holibobs to the most magical place on earth.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
