Hello Christy,
Welcome to planDisney! As an international Guest (from the UK) myself, it really is my pleasure to say "
Hallo!" to a fellow transatlantic traveller from the beautiful country of the Netherlands.
Christy, this is such a great question to ask planDisney! After all, with so many
dining, shopping, and enchantingly extra opportunities in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, you'll of course want to be sure that you'll have access to all your spending money.
To the best of my current knowledge, Maestro is part of Mastercard, with Maestro being a brand of debit card within the MasterCard family. However, prior to leaving home, I would urge you to double-check with your bank just to officially clarify and confirm those details.
Additionally, Christy, it might be reassuring for you to know that I've successfully used my UK-based Visa debit card at Walt Disney World Resort, and it's also linked to my Apple Pay too!
And lastly, I thought it might be helpful for you to understand that at present
Walt Disney World Resort accepts the following methods of payment -
- Visa
- MasterCard
- American Express
- Discover Card
- Diners Club Charge Card
- JCB (Japan Credit Bureau)
- Disney Gift Card
- Disney Rewards Dollars
- Disney® Visa® Card
I sincerely hope that I've been able to offer you a little pixie-dusted insight today Christy. If you should have any further questions about an upcoming holiday at Walt Disney World Resort, then please do drop back to
me here at planDisney!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
