Hi Tammy, welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is my family's absolute favorite place to stay when we visit the
Disneyland Resort! We love how close in proximity it is to both theme parks. Be sure to take advantage of the special entrance for hotel Guests, which leads directly into
Disney California Adventure Park! And if you get a chance, I highly recommend dining at
Storytellers Café. My kiddos loved the
Character Dining experience there!
But back to your main question, when booking your hotel reservation, you will need to include your infant in your Guest count. When you start searching for your hotel room, you will be required to put the number of children that will be staying in the room, along with their age. There will be an "infant" option that you can select for the age.
Also, when you visit the parks, be sure to take advantage of the
Baby Care Centers! They are amazing, and my wife and I used them very often when our kiddos were infants. They offer a clean and comfortable facility with changing rooms, nursing rooms, a feeding area with high chairs, and more. At Disneyland Park, it's located at the end of
Main Street, U.S.A., next to
First Aid. At Disney California Adventure Park, the baby care center is located next to
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, across from
The Bakery Tour in Pacific Wharf.
