Hi Joseph! I'm honored to be the first to welcome you to planDisney!
Let's kick this off with great news, you can store your food in any container you like, except for glass containers. It looks like you're planning to bring a backpack, which is an excellent idea. I always bring a backpack myself when I visit the
Disneyland Resort! Your backpack does not need to be clear, but it can be if you want to show off what you have inside! But one tidbit of info, backpacks, coolers, bags, or suitcases larger than 24" x 15" x 18" are not allowed. So just be sure to double-check your measurements before coming!
I have two little kiddos, so my wife and I usually fill our backpacks with snacks and food. Dry and loose ice is not allowed, so we typically bring re-usable ice packs to keep our food fresh and cool! Be sure to check out the
official park rules on outside food and beverages. If you have time, I also recommend taking a detour to visit
Disneyland Hotel and
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. They have some excellent dining options. My family's favorites are
Goofy's Kitchen and
Storytellers Cafe!
Thanks for giving us a chance to help with your questions. If you have any more, don't hesitate to visit us again, we're here for you!
See ya real soon!
