Hi Jody! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You are in for such a treat with your
little ones at the Walt Disney World Resort! It brings a huge smile to my face as I think about the special memories you are going to make in just a few days. I have enjoyed taking my kids since they were infants and there is nothing like the joy on their faces as we make our way through "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"
Good news! You are welcome to bring your diaper bag with you into the theme parks. Not only can you bring snacks in your diaper bag, but I highly recommend it! We have prevented MANY "hangry" meltdowns by having some familiar snacks on hand. There are a few
items you want to avoid bringing with you: glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), alcoholic beverages, loose ice (ice packs and ice contained inside a zipped bag is fine), and any bags or coolers larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Follow these rules and you should be all set to go!
All bags have to go through a security check, so I try to place food items inside clear bags before packing them into my backpack, just to speed the process up a little. It is also a good idea to have all compartments of your bag open once you get to the Cast Member. It all gets you into the theme parks a little more quickly!
I hope this helps, Jody! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
