Do you need to check-in to your hotel before heading to the park to take advantage of extra hours?

    Welcome to planDisney, Kathleen!

Thank you for taking the time to send a great question our way. It is a pleasure to help you plan a pixie-dusted Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I am happy to hear you are going to be our Guest at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Besides being immersed in the magic during your stay, you will get to take advantage of benefits like Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary transportation, and more.

You can start enjoying your Guest benefits even before getting access to your Disney Resort hotel room on the date of check-in. To take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry on your arrival date, I recommend checking in online in advance, and then when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort all you have to do is leave your luggage with Bell Services at your resort early in the morning and go to the parks to enjoy your day.

You will be notified during the day when your room is ready. To verify your Guest room number, check out your reservation details via the My Disney Experience mobile app. Upon returning to your Disney Resort hotel later in the day, stop by Bell Services to pick up your luggage and go straight to your room by using Direct-to-Room service.

I hope this information is helpful, Kathleen. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best Disney wishes,
    Thiana
